ALBERTA’S FIRST LEGION!

The Royal Canadian Legion, Coleman Branch No. 9 is a non-profit organization, formed in 1926,  to assist members of the Canadian Military and their families, and to remind us all of their sacrifices made, in the spirit of freedom and democracy.

Since then, we have grown into much more!  While our original mission remains the same, it also includes service to our community.  How do we do this?

SOCIAL GATHERING PLACE: Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM – 12 AM, the public is always welcome (including children, club side only until 8 PM) to come in and enjoy a refreshment, some conversation, a game of pool, Saturday afternoon jam sessions, Monday night crib, or to enjoy our VLT lounge! We love to serve our customers!

COMMUNITY FACILITY Located on 7831-17 Avenue, Coleman, our facility is available for a variety of community gatherings. such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary, or Christmas parties, dances, bridal showers, banquets or as a meeting room for other community groups. Our facility is your facility!

VOLUNTEER OUTLET:  New to the community or are you looking for a way to get involved? We are a great place to meet new people and have fun! We offer the spirit of comradeship!

COMMUNITY SUPPORT: We are always there to assist other community groups, in the form of colour party parades, financial support, or any other way asked of us. Please contact our Legion Secretary to make your request or offer a suggestion. We are an active part of our community!
